“ELKHART, Ind. — When Randall Jeremiah first heard that the RVIA Show in Louisville, Kentucky, was cancelled for 2018 in lieu of a new and reimagined show set for 2019, he waited. He waited for someone to figure out a way for RV suppliers and vendors to participate in the RV Open House in Elkhart, Indiana.

But when it didn’t happen, he didn’t keep waiting—Jeremiah decided to do something about it. And the RV Supplier and Vendor Exhibition took shape.

The new event, held in conjunction with the RV Open House, did well in attracting companies to exhibit. It enticed more than 60 vendors and suppliers to exhibit, which is not bad for a show in its inaugural year, Jeremiah says.

The companies represented “are some of the best companies in our industry,” said Jeremiah.

“The show is designed for both dealers and manufacturers and we had exhibitors that deal with both,” he added.

They included: AFP Power, American Guardian Warranty Services, American Technologies Comp, Auto Motion Shade, Camco MFG, CDK Global, Creative Product Group, Curt Group, Hoosier Transport, Dec-O-Art, Duo Form Plastics, Easy Care, Equilizer Systems, ESCO/ Flair-it, Flame King, Garmin, Girard Systems, Heartland Mattress LLC, Honda Trading Company, HWH, IDS Astra, International Thermal Research, Inventrue, Liquid Springs, Magnadyne Corp, Medallion Bank, Midwest Sales and Service Inc, Mito Corp, National Quality Products, Nickle Atlantic LLC, Optronics Inc, OTR Wheel Engineering Inc, Pace International, Parallax Power, Pentair Shurflow, RDS Financing, RV Quest LLC, RV Trader, Stoett Industries, SuperSprings International, Torklift, Tornado Gas Springs, Trim Lok, Truma, Tuson RV and Brakes, United States Warranty Corp, Vehicle Admin Services, VB Airsuspension, VTE Corp, Wall Tracks.

When the RV Supplier and Vendor Exhibition opened this week, it got off to a slow start. Rainy weather and a lack of awareness as to where they were located, kept people away. But the wrinkles were soon smoothed out, and a steady stream of traffic – well over 300 people a day — began filtering through the big white tent set up near the RV/MH Hall of Fame, Jeremiah reported.

He added planning for 2019 has already begun. “We plan to improve it and make it nicer for everyone,” he says….” — RV Daily Report
